    1924 John Edward Harris Violin
    Born 1860 Wednesbury, died 1951 Gateshead UK. Pupil of George Chanot in London. Established independently in Shildon, Bishop Auckland from 1894, moving to Gateshead 1908. Assisted by two sons, Ernest and John Edward jr. - Stradivari and Guarneri models, finely worked, using good materials.
